Who can play

You must be 13 or older. By choosing "Agree and play" you agree to these terms.

Your name and your messages

Other players see your name and, when chat is on, what you write in chat. You are responsible for them.

Not allowed

In chat, in names, or anywhere in the game:

• Harassment or bullying, including singling someone out or ganging up on them.
• Hate speech: attacking people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, or similar.
• Sexual content of any kind.
• Anything that sexualises or exploits children, including grooming. We report this to the authorities.
• Threats, violence, or encouraging anyone to hurt themselves.
• Illegal or dangerous activity.
• Spam, scams, advertising, or links to other sites.
• Pretending to be someone else, including InvestUp staff.
• Sharing anyone's personal information (address, phone number, email, school, photos).
• Cheating, or using bugs to get an unfair advantage.

Report and Block

Tap a player, or a message when chat is on, to report or block them. Reports go to us; the player is not told who reported them. Blocking hides their messages from you and stops trades, friend requests and invites between you.

The reasons you can choose when you report:

• Harassment or bullying: picking on someone, insults, ganging up.
• Hate speech: attacks on who someone is (see the list above).
• Sexual content: anything sexual.
• Threats or violence: threats, or pushing anyone to hurt themselves.
• Child safety: anything that puts a child at risk, including grooming.
• Spam or scam: ads, scams, links to other sites, flooding the chat.
• Sharing personal info: someone's address, phone, email, school or photos.
• Offensive name (players only): a name that breaks these rules.
• Cheating or unfair play (players only): using bugs or tricks to win.
• Something else: anything else that breaks these rules.

What we do

We read reports and act on them. We may remove messages, stop you chatting for a time or for good, or ban you from InvestUp. Serious cases may be reported to the police or other authorities.

If you think we got it wrong, email investup462@gmail.com with your player name and what happened.

The game

InvestUp uses virtual money only. It has no real-money value and cannot be cashed out. The game is provided as it is, and we may change it or stop it.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will ask you to agree again.
